Honolua is one of Maui's most awesome beaches to swim and bodyboard at
that I can remember.
Parking is at the top of the hill and it's a short walk down a steep
staircase. During one storm
hundreds of rounded rocks were washed ashore in 2002-2003 (can't
remember which) and I don't
know if they ever attempted to clean them off the beach or not.
This might be one of the last photos of Honolua beach with more sand
than rocks.
