Brent Hill as I knew him, or Douglas Brent Hill, which was his full name – was a good friend in the Air Force at Hickam Air Force Base on the island of Oahu, Hawaii for a number of years. A really fun person that I spent many nights talking with, eating with, drinking with, and clubbing with.

Brent had a zest for life, and in most cases would not leave a somber mood alone – he’d start everyone laughing with some of his memorable jokes, toasts, and dance moves.

Recently, sadly, Brent has already left us and is where we’ll all be soon enough. I copy/pasted his obituary below for those that happen to be searching for him online and might find him here.

If you knew Brent – and want to say something about him here in the comments – please do so.
