If you live on Kauai and you want some part time hours as a census taker for the US government you might be able to jump on this. It was released on 11/15 in Craigslist.org Hawaii section, so maybe it’s been taken – but I thought I’d mention it. I don’t often see jobs in Kauai, Hawaii listed in Craigs.

Though it’s hard to call a favorite, Kauai is definitely one of my favorite islands of all time. Maui and Kauai – how can someone choose? If you can actually find a job on Kauai I think you’d better go, just for the experience. It may not work for whatever reason, and this part-time job taking census is no justification to move there, but if you were able to find a full-time Kauai job? Wow…

The U.S. Census Bureau is recruiting thousands of temporary, part-time census takers for the 2010 Census across the State of Hawaii. These short-term jobs offer good pay, flexible hours, paid training, and reimbursement for mileage incurred while conducting census work. Best of all, census takers work right in their own communities. Jobs are temporary, part time up to 40 hours per week.

I would link back to craigslist – but at some point those links die and I can’t have the dead links on my blog. I’m thinking if I mention Craigslist.org – Hawaii once or twice – that’s gotta be credit enough – yes? Any comments on that tactic?
