<description>Farkology! Who knew there was such a thing! ;-)

I love Scott Adams&#039; blog - just started reading it recently. Naturally I totally identify with Dilbert since I work in a Big Corporation in a Cube.</description>

<description>You have a voice Vern, it’s very distinct.
Just because you are multi-faceted doesn&#039;t mean you don&#039;t have a voice.
I don&#039;t think you have to see things only one way to have a voice... few people are so one dimensional.
I think… I know… I come back because of your various insights and experiences.
That factor alone will aid your longevity… of course, just my opinion.
But then I am someone who hasn’t found my voice to be strong enough to be heard yet…
There are many of us that relate (ok, at least myself) prefer to connect with someone who isn’t a constant expert, after awhile it can cause in adequacy issues…
Or a constant critic… ugh, to exhausting!
And please, don’t get me started on the screamers…

I read your blog because it is the voice of a real person…
Slightly mysterious or maybe it is just comfort in your own skin
That allows you to openly express feelings and emotions…
Either way… your voice has defined itself without intention or design.

Thanks for the response!

<description>Haha! Not sure... about any of your questions. LOL! I haven&#039;t told Dave of this post. I think that he does feel cosmically farked because it&#039;s someone to blame for it. I wouldn&#039;t want to blame myself either. Find something &#039;out there&#039; to blame it on. LOL.

Farkology is a science that was maybe invented by my great uncle Fishrat, fishgods rest his soul. I am considering an uncle Fishrat repost here to give an example of the idea of &quot;Voice&quot; in your blog. The guy was incredible when he wrote his fishing updates. He had created a Voice that was unmistakably his and it was great reading everytime we all received an update.

Problem with most blogs - and this one is struggling with it too... is that a blogger must have a voice. You can be a &#039;screamer&#039;, a &#039;critic&#039;, an expert on the world (Seth Godin), a wimp that complains about the entire world out to get you... but, you&#039;ve gotta have a voice that&#039;s identifiable and that aligns you with readers that enjoy reading it.

Uncle Fishrat had a great voice. I have a voice during some posts - and some not. Trying now to decide how to make it G-R-E-A-T!

Thanks for the comment Tami (again!)...

		<description>Too funny!
Soooooo... does Dave feel somehow &quot;cosmically&quot; farked because he can&#039;t draw or have you not told him yet?
Better yet, is it farked that Scott is considered to be a successful (ok, more lucrative) artist (drawer, didn&#039;t sound right) as opposed to Albrecht Dürer, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, or Raphael, who for the most part had to die before their artwork became marketable, talk about farked?

No Vern, I got it!
Is it the most farked of all, that three out of those four masters of art are more known as adolescent martial artist turtles, than artists at all???
LOL... sorry for my silliness... it was a self evolving inquiry... I had no control over its absurdity!

First time hearing of Farkology, not offered at any secondary educational resources at my disposal…
Thanks for the 101 Introduction!
