Most of us reach a point while building our blog where we get stuck and start wondering what direction to go.
With AimforAwesome I’ve reconsidered a couple times which way to swing it – what to focus on. I decided Hawaii was the prime focus but I’ve kept the exercise, success, and other personal development articles here as well. For the life of it the focus will be Hawaii and the Hawaiian islands.
Unfortunately this amazing resource I’ll tell you about below, wasn’t available back when I was trying to figure out a plan for AFA.
No matter – I bought it recently to see if it might be of value for readers of my blogs.
It is undoubtedly the most amazing plan for building your blog that I’ve seen… and there are a lot of guides out there.
This was written by Darren Rowse, an Aussie that is like the grandfather of blogging – he’s not that old, but, he’s got the experience of an old-timer in the subject.
Darren’s “31 Days to Building a Better Blog” has nearly 200 pages of information – but, it’s broken down into VERY simple steps that guide you – take you along by hand to complete each task and build your blog from the bottom up.
You might think you know it all. You might think there’s nothing to be learned. That was my initial reaction to the book when it came out. I ignored it for a few weeks… over a month. Then I realized – I ALWAYS learn something from others when I read their guides. Darren is the blogging master – surely I’ll learn ‘something’ – right?
I learned a LOT. I know you will learn a LOT too while going through the program.
