Here’s a graph from TweetStats.com that shows how I’ve tapered off Twitter use over the past few months. It’s not that I don’t get some value out of it – I do… however, I get a lot more value out of the other 35 things I’m doing I guess.
That could all change…
A couple days ago as I mentioned in IncAnswers.com, Google and Bing came to separate agreements with the Twitter folks and both search engines will be crawling Twitter’s data in realtime and displaying results in the SERP’s.
What that might mean is… I might all the sudden have a very good reason to start ramping up my Twitter use again. You might too.
Most of the time I tweet at AimforAwesome, which is a mixed bag of information about Hawaii, Thailand, and internet marketing tools, sites or info I think you’ll find useful or at least, interesting.

I always tell people that they need friends online. That Google is their number one friend, and Twitter is their second closest friend. Twitter has so many connections with other twitter aggregators that my Twitter homepage link is displayed on my Twitter-like websites without me doing a thing. My tweets show up in my Google Alerts and are picked up by these Twitter aggregators as well. So the links I post get a greater reach and my backlinks increase as well. Automation. Whatever you can do to automate a part of your business – do it! Also, I have 2,000 followers and use hastags (#) so if I have a question I get real-time responses from real people – not age old articles or Yahoo! Answers by spammers!
Peace.

Hello Vern,
I find most of what you write fascinating. Looks like Twitter may see more of you soon.
Best wishes,
