2010 Goals

These are some of my goals for 2010. Having a baby girl recently has me thinking about the future a lot more than I usually do.

My number one goal for early 2010 is to decide… are we staying in Thailand or leaving? The state of the country is always up in the air. Foreigners face an extra difficult time trying to line up visas – the rules are always changing.

I want to get at least one paperback book published, and a number of ebooks. I have a series in mind that I’ve started writing. Would be nice to see half the books completed in 2010.

Well, I didn’t think that would be it! That’s it for now though. Really these two are my main focus and are taking up all my time. Can’t think too much past them right now.

About Vern

Aloha! I'm "Vern". I created this site to focus on Hawaii - all the islands - Oahu, Maui, Kauai, Big Island and even Molokai and Lanai and Kahoolawe when I can find information on them. I love living in Hawaii, and I think you would too. I hope you come away with something positive as a result of visiting Aim for Awesome. Feel free to add comments or contact me through email found at the Contact page. Best of life to you in 2011 - Aloha!

One Response to “2010 Goals”

  1. I would sit down with the wife and weigh out the pros and cons of staying versus going to the U.S. and if you decide on the latter than write up a time table. Of course, you’ll have to decide upon which state to move too and for which choices. I know you deeply want to go back to Hawaii – so why not? Maybe for just a two years. Then when your daughter is older and ready for school head in land for a good education and cheaper living. If you’re moving the family the three of you will need a transition period from tropical Thailand to multi-seasonal U.S.A. so moving to Hawaii may help with that. ;-)
