Did you move to Hawaii after 2012? What’s your best advice?

What would you tell someone thinking about moving to Hawaii?

I recently sent out an email to my subscribers (make sure you get on the list!) about an online community I’m creating to help people live in Hawaii. To my delight many of them replied that they had already moved to Hawaii. To them and others that recently moved here: please share your experiences in the comment section below!

Anything you wish to share would be fantastic.  Here are some questions to get you thinking of what might be helpful to others reading this post:

  1. If there was only piece of advice you could give to someone, what would it be?

  2. If hindsight is 20/20, what would you do differently if you had to do it all over again?

  3. What’s the most unexpected delight you experienced after moving here?

  4. What was harder than you anticipated about living in Hawaii?

We need your advice!

About the Author:

I’ve lived Hawaii since the mid ‘80s when I moved here at the age of 21. I arrived site-unseen in Honolulu with zero contacts and about $5k in savings. I worked from nearly zero and today Hawaii has given me the greatest gifts in the world in all aspects: spiritually, financially, romantically (married since early ‘90s w/ 2 children), and most important, peace. My goal with this site is to share the magic of this Land of Aloha and help others who are on a similar quest.
