About the Author:

I’ve lived Hawaii since the mid ‘80s when I moved here at the age of 21. I arrived site-unseen in Honolulu with zero contacts and about $5k in savings. I worked from nearly zero and today Hawaii has given me the greatest gifts in the world in all aspects: spiritually, financially, romantically (married since early ‘90s w/ 2 children), and most important, peace. My goal with this site is to share the magic of this Land of Aloha and help others who are on a similar quest.

When you’re running this type of ad, and pairing it to an email blast, make sure you tell us that we’ll only get ONE phonecall from one company. Most of us who are moving to the islands are tired of getting multiple calls repeatedly from movers. If you make the comment more personal, and say you’ll only be using Hawaiian Shippers, you’re going to get greater conversion while assuring people you’ll only share their information with one company. Mahalo!

Great tip Haoli! That privacy thought never even occurred to me because I wouldn’t dream of working with anyone that would resell or redistribute information. Yes, you are correct, we’re only using Hawaiian Shippers and Nicole over there personally calls each person via human telephone. Thanks for asking and I’ll make that change for next time.
