Hawaii has wide range of hikes on both the natural diversity (mountain, jungle, waterfall) and difficulty scales and so there really is something for everyone. If you’ve been to Hawaii and haven’t gone on any kind of hike, you’ve really missed out on a great way to experience the islands.
If you’re going to be on Oahu, you really can’t miss the Diamond Head hike. Our local girl Aina has been there countless times and she writes up why Diamond Head is so great.
My husband has worked for Southwest Airlines for 24 years and I have a network marketing business. We are strongly thinking of transferring. My husband will be 59 1/2 at the end of the year and can cash in on his retirement benefits plus he still plans to work. I have been reading so much about moving there from all the information that you consistently send…thanks so much!
However, we do live in Las Vegas and he works with many Hawaiians. They say they would never move back. We are booked for a Hawaiian cruise the end of this year. And plan to really think about what we want to do.
Would be interesting to ask the Hawaiians in Vegas (and I know there are a lot of them) as to WHY they would not move back.
