Social Life in Hawaii?

Navigation:/, Social/Social Life in Hawaii?

I just wrote a post about the social situation in Hawaii and what you might expect when you arrive.

Would Hawaii be a good place to find a spouse as a single person?

How could you go about making friends in Hawaii?

Here’s the article:

Social Environment in Hawaii

About the Author:

I’ve lived Hawaii since the mid ‘80s when I moved here at the age of 21. I arrived site-unseen in Honolulu with zero contacts and about $5k in savings. I worked from nearly zero and today Hawaii has given me the greatest gifts in the world in all aspects: spiritually, financially, romantically (married since early ‘90s w/ 2 children), and most important, peace. My goal with this site is to share the magic of this Land of Aloha and help others who are on a similar quest.

It’s always fun when the quiz responds that way!

Another reason Maui is the epitome of stupidly by its very existence, “Maintenance Neurosis” via “just doing my job.” If you try to relax on the new furniture at the Queen Ka’ahumanu Mall, over-zealous maintenance personnel will eventually show up leaning over you to sweep where your feet rest with absolutely no consciousness of the environment or the personal space of patrons.
